Terms and Conditions of Membership
- As a member you agree to abide by the code of conduct for parents and members as staed in the member's handbook.
- As a parent you give permission for your named child to participate in any and all activities at Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C.
- As a gymnast or parent or guardian, it is your option to consult a doctor for assurance of proper health and will be encouraged to do so by Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C.
- You must authorise the representatives of Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C. to provide any emergency medical services that may be required due to an injury during any gymnastics activity at or for Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C.
- Participation is entirely by your own choice and with the understanding that there are risks and the possibility of accidental injury, paralysis and even death in any activity involving unusual motion or height.
- You should make yourself aware of the element of risk involved and while accepting that the coaches and event personnel will take precautions to prevent accidents, they may not be held responsible for loss, damage or injury to you/your child or his/her belongings.
- Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C. is not responsible, whatsoever, for anything that happens before or after the child’s designated class, this includes loss or damage to children’s personal belongings.
- Fees are paid for 3 terms per year and payments are due on or before the last training day of each term. A £5.00 late fee will be added, per week, if the payment is not received before the start of the next block. NO EXCEPTIONS. If payment has not been made BEFORE the second week your child/children will loose their place from his/her class.
- Returned cheques are subject to a £7.50 insufficient funds charge which will be added to your fees.
- Transferring classes is permitted so long as there is space available in the class you wish to transfer to and is arranged in advance with the coach. Transferring classes is a privilege, please do not abuse it.
- There are no refunds or discounts if the child is absent for any reason or termination of my child's membership.
- Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C. reserves the right to cancel any class at any time. We will endeavour to contact you before any class is cancelled and make up classes will be offered to compensate. Refunds will not be given for any cancellations.
- You should inform a coach if your child should miss 3 weeks or more and understand that failing to do so will result in the lose of your child’s place.
- Any merchandise baring the Abbey Gymnastics name/logo must be purchased directly from Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C. Using the Abbey Gymnastics name/logo on items which have not been purchased from the Company is an offence and those found doing so will be liable to prosecution.
- I understand that becoming a member of Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C. I will endeavour to assist with fundraising activities when required. Members who do not assist with fundraising activities will not receive the benefits or use from equipment purchased from such activities.
- Abusive behaviour, either verbal or physical will not be tolerated at Abbey Gymnastics C.I.C and I understand and accept that anyone found to be abusive to staff or other members will be removed, membership withdrawn and reported to the police if necessary.
